Delivery Model

A delivery model is the defined way an organisation structures and runs its work to produce outcomes — the teams, methods, cadences, and hand-offs that determine how initiatives move from intent to result, whether agile, sequential, or a deliberate blend of both.

A delivery model answers a practical question: how does work actually get done here. It sets team shapes, the methods each team uses, how they synchronise, and where decisions are made. It makes delivery repeatable rather than reinvented for every initiative.

It works by matching approach to the work. Some outcomes suit iterative delivery; others need staged, controlled sequences. A strong delivery model chooses deliberately and keeps the parts coordinated so hand-offs do not become failure points.

For enterprises, the delivery model is the operating spine of transformation. It is where strategy becomes a way of working, and where consistency and speed are either built in or left to chance.
