Source Attribution

Source attribution is the practice of linking each part of an AI output to the specific document, dataset, or reference it was drawn from, so a reader can see exactly where a claim came from and open the underlying evidence to verify it.

Attribution turns an assertion into a citation. Instead of "the market is shifting," the output says which source, which page, which figure. The reader can go and check.

This is the visible surface of grounding. A grounded system knows its sources; attribution shows them to the user. Together they make output not just accurate but checkable.

For consulting and enterprise work, attribution is what makes a result client-ready. It carries its own proof.
