A method written in a slide deck is inert. It relies on an expert to interpret and apply it. Methodology-as-code turns that method into a structured model a system can read, combine, and execute.
Once encoded, methods stop drifting. The same framework is applied the same way every time, and its logic is inspectable rather than tacit.
This is the foundation for automating knowledge work. You cannot generate a grounded plan from a method the machine cannot read. Encoding the method is the prerequisite.
