Culture and organization
Culture is the first reason transformations fail. Axibra keeps the organizational side of a decision in view instead of leaving it to chance.
See how it worksThe Approach to Scaling Circular Organizations shows ways to create a network of organization or on how to setup hybrid organizations.

The package

The case
As your success grows and as you scale from start-up to big corp, you need to find ways of scaling the circular organizational structure while retaining it’s superior design and advantages. You ultimately want to be able to retain the agility and the advantages of a decentralized structure which keeps all involved while enabling scale. So how do we go about it?
The mechanics
The cognitive limit of humans to engage in effective working relationships is the key design boundary to take into account. This is typically referred to as the “Dunbar number”, which says that a single person cannot maintain more than around 150 social relationships at a time. As our organization grows beyond 100 – maximum 200 people, we are splitting up the initial organizational structure into multiple organizations leveraging the principles of holding structure. Holding structures of different characteristics ultimately allow to retain ownership and strong collaboration while maintaining the dynamics of agile organizations.
The purpose
What is the goal of the model?
Scaling the circular organization. We are looking for a way to scale the organization without suffocating innovation while still enabling all involved to work together in a well aligned but decentralized network.
Beyond the download
The PDF is yours to keep. But a model changes something only when it touches the work — and that is what Axibra does with it. The model becomes the structure your decisions are made in, and every outcome stays traceable back to the input it came from.
In practice
For years we applied this model by hand, in client engagements. It now runs inside Axibra.

Axibra is where these models run. It carries a decision through to the work that follows it, and keeps every result traceable back to the input it came from. If you would rather start with a conversation, we are one call away.
Strategy does not fail in the thinking. It fails in the handover.
