Experience Design

Experience design is the discipline of shaping the whole experience a person has with a product, service, or brand across every touchpoint and moment, so the interaction feels coherent, useful, and considered from beginning to end.

Experience design looks wider than a single screen or interaction. It considers the full path a person travels, the emotions along it, and the consistency between channels, aiming for an experience that holds together rather than a set of well-made but disconnected parts.

It draws on research, journey mapping, and service design to align what people need with what the organisation delivers. Because experiences span digital and human touchpoints, experience design coordinates across teams that would otherwise optimise their pieces in isolation.
