I completely re-evaluated the role of innovation in business growth: before reading this book I have to admit I thought it only entailed product new features and technologies enhancements, while now I see it has everything to do with meeting customer needs and uncovering a business USP, which automatically translates in sales! Could not recommend it more!

Unlike most business innovation books I read over the last years (and even decades) when reading How to create innovation you immediately understand the authors have been there, innovating and transforming some of the world's most amazing brands. Great work!

Not only this book offers the most comprehensive innovation and business change overview but it really helps you take the next step, driving you step by step from theory to practice (also with super useful background notes and driving questions)

I really enjoyed the whole book, but mostly the culture chapter, mainly because I always failed to acknowledge its major role in favouring or inhibiting business growth. Loved the graphics that helped connect all the dots in a visually appealing (and way easier) way.

We’been willing to innovate our business for some years now, but then we always got stuck before we even started, because basically we had no idea where to start…This book helped us do just that: find the right starting point with guiding questions and an incredibly comprehensive innovation overview.

Thousands of organizations leverage the UNITE models - these are some of them ...

    Why we use it

The Culture Canvas guides you step-by-step through the process of analyzing, innovating and changing your culture so that it can effectively support your organization’s purpose and business goals. The canvas enables you to capture the most critical aspects of your culture, understand how everything fits together, and helps you design a path forward.

    How It Works

The UNITE Culture Canvas lays out the most important factors for an organization’s culture, organized in six key areas including mindset, meaning, leadership, people, organization and principles and rules. It covers the hard structural factors of culture, as well as the invisible drivers, i.e. everything that happens “beneath the surface” (imagine an iceberg).
The UNITE Culture Canvas allows you to see how the different areas are interrelated, and as you iterate one part, you can think through how any changes there will affect the other aspects of your culture.
You can design any type of organizational culture with the UNITE Culture Canvas, since it gives you a strong and systematic structural basis.
The UNITE Culture Canvas summarizes decades of experience from both academia as well as applied global seminars and workshop practices on a single page, and provides the the key questions to help you understand and fill in each area.

What is the goal of the model?

Create results – for your organization, for your team and for the world. The UNITE Culture Canvas invites you to systematically understand, design, challenge and rethink your organization’s culture. Uniquely, the UNITE Culture Canvas focuses on the most important factors impacting an organization’s culture. The canvas helps you gain a holistic perspective and align the key cultural factors to help you attain the results you desire.
