The mechanics
Der Project Design Canvas gliedert sich in 6 große Kategorien: die Projektausrichtung, über die die Stakeholder des Projekts entscheiden, die Projektstrategie, die Ressourcen des Projekts, die Projektplanung sowie die Projektsteuerung. Der Canvas nimmt einen realistischen Blick auf alle Personen und alles ein, was von einem Projekt potenziell betroffen sein könnte, und darauf, welche Rolle sie im Projektverlauf spielen sollten. Wichtig ist: Der Canvas stellt sicher, dass die Grenzen und Strategien Ihres Projekts frühzeitig festgelegt werden, und das Dokument dient während der gesamten Projektlaufzeit als Referenz und Leitfaden – ebenso kann es als Werkzeug genutzt werden, um innezuhalten und zu überprüfen, ob das Projekt noch auf Kurs ist. Der Project Design Canvas stellt so sicher, dass jedes Projekt ein Ziel, einen Plan und Grenzen hat, um sogenanntem „Project Creep“ vorzubeugen.
