Tools & Models/Innovation Approach
These scorecards allow you to rank your solutions concepts and MVPs at the end of Stages 2 and 3 against the most important criteria investors use. The scorecards help you make a factual decision about whether to kill, pivot, or advance a solution based on data, not instinct.

The package

The case
The UNITE approach to innovation puts testing and evaluating centerstage as to achieve real-world validation before moving on to building and scaling. These two scorecards provide easy-to-use rubrics to assess your Problem/Solution-Fit and your Minimum Viable Product.
The mechanics
The UNITE Problem/Solution fit Scorecard for Stage 2 is broken down to represent the three basic categories: customer, offering, and Business Model. Each category contains the most relevant questions that will allow you to rank your product or service based on key metrics. Then you can tabulate the scores at the bottom to get a total score for each solution. This gives you a data-driven way to decide whether to kill an idea, pivot to an adjacent solution or move the concept forward to the next stage. The UNITE Solution/Market fit (MVP) Scorecard for Stage 3 works similarly, except instead of being broken down into columns, it asks you to rank your MVP on the basis of 8 key criteria, such as traction and quality. Once you have a total score, you can decide whether to kill, pivot, or scale. This scorecard summarizes the key criteria investors use to gauge an idea. Apply it to your own cases to help you determine whether you have attained the required investment security and are ready to scale.
The purpose
What is the goal of the model?
Confidence in your decisions. These scorecards provide a data-driven approach to assessing your Problem/Solution Fit and MVP. You don’t want to make big decisions based on your gut alone. Let the numbers be your guide.
Beyond the download
The PDF is yours to keep. But a model changes something only when it touches the work — and that is what Axibra does with it. The model becomes the structure your decisions are made in, and every outcome stays traceable back to the input it came from.
In practice

From here on
Axibra is where these models run. It carries a decision through to the work that follows it, and keeps every result traceable back to the input it came from. If you would rather start with a conversation, we are one call away.
Strategy does not fail in the thinking. It fails in the handover.
