The package

The case
Over 90% of all Business Model innovations simply recombine existing ideas and patterns from other industries. The UNITE Business Model Innovation Patterns provides you with a (nearly) complete set of the relevant patterns available on the market in order to help you innovate your own business model! Go for it!
The mechanics
The Business Model Canvas serves as structure for the Business Model Innovation Patterns. Each area of the canvas is broken down and covers the most relevant Business Model Innovation Patterns. Seeing all of the patterns laid out will allow you to think about alternatives to your approach (e.g. what if we were to monetize our Value Proposition in this way?) and about unique ways of combining them (and likely introduce you to some you had never thought of!). As you review each aspect of the Business Model Canvas, think about the patterns and combinations of patterns that can help you gain a competitive advantage and find blue oceans. Remember to also experiment with patterns that are not typical in your industry, even if this may be uncomfortable at first. It may seem like you are just jumping into a void, but it will be rewarding once you go through a few iterations and begin to see the potential of the new patterns you are assembling.
The purpose
What is the goal of the model?
True Business Model Innovation. As you design and iterate your Business Model, the UNITE Business Model Innovation Patterns will help you and your team consider which patterns might help you gain competitive advantage and access blue oceans. Broken down into categories, the patterns allow you to think about what part of the Business Model to focus on and how you might mix and match to maximise differentiation and results.

Axibra is where these models run. It carries a decision through to the work that follows it, and keeps every result traceable back to the input it came from. If you would rather start with a conversation, we are one call away.
Strategy does not fail in the thinking. It fails in the handover.
